I am a documentary filmmaker specializing in vérité cinematography.

After studying fine art photography and sociology in college, I worked for several years as a digital tech in the NYC fashion photography world.

In 2014, I moved to Thailand to work as a Human Rights Storyteller for EarthRights International, where I created films for grassroots advocacy campaigns in partnership with communities throughout the Mekong Region facing human rights violations at the hands of large corporations.

Seeking a deeper understanding of filmmaking, I returned to New York in 2016 to pursue an MFA in Social Documentary Film at the School of Visual Arts. My thesis film, The Boxers of Brule, went on to an international festival run, earned multiple nominations and awards, and is currently streaming on Vice World News.

Driven by a passion for documentary storytelling, I co-created EarthRights Exposures—filmmaking workshops for Mekong youth activists with the Yangon Film School—and NATV Lens, a collaboration with 100cameras offering photography workshops with Shinnecock Nation and Indigenous youth across the U.S.

Today, I split my time between Austin and New York City, working on projects that strive for a more just and equal world through striking imagery and thoughtfully crafted stories.
